Jungle Palace Homestay
The aromatic smell of spices hit your nose the moment you step into Thekkady or Kumily. Well, while you’re at the Jungle Palace homestay, you can savour the sights and smells of the city. We’re just 50m from the entrance of the Periyar wildlife sanctuary and just behind the park.
The homestay has well-furnished, spacious rooms. They’ve individual balconies from where you can view the forests and the mountains. Watching the sanctuary come alive with activity itself is a pastime here. The rooms have attached baths and 24-hour hot and cold running water. You can watch your favourite shows on the satellite TV in the rooms.
If you’re a yoga freak and need space to practise, or if you’re just looking to relax for a while, we’ve a large terrace open for you. We have laundry facility, too. Food is prepared according to guests’ requests. Cooking classes can be arranged as well. Preparing your own food is also possible. Our kitchen is open for you.
We can arrange short trips and tours for you. Adventure activities such as trekking, jungle safaris and night camps can be organised for guests. Watch a Kathakali or Kalari performance nearby.
