Kairali Palace homestay, right in the centre of the city, is a well-appointed one. It is close to the entrance to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The rooms are spacious and airy, and have a common balcony. Attached baths are spacious, too, with 24-hour hot and cold running water. There’s satellite TV for you to relax or catch up on your favourite programmes.
