Muthoot Cardamom County is the first ISO Certified four-star resort in Kerala which is perched on the gradient of a gently sloping hill, facing the Periyar Tiger Reserve. The architecture and landscaping of the entire resort has been thoughtfully donein deference to the ethereal beauty of its natural surroundings.

The interiors of the resort have been aesthetically designed and furnished in an appealing mix of contemporary styling and a natural charm. Each of the cozy cottages has spacious bedrooms and a private verandah overlooking the scenic natural beauty of the resort. The All Spices restaurant serves ethnic as well as international cuisine. You can also dine at the pool lounge. The open air terrace can accommodate large number of guests and is a nice spot for informal parties, grills, barbeques and candlelight dinner.

You can bask in the sun near the swimming pool deck. Or go for a swim, too, in the pool. The resort has a pool table, multi-gym, indoor games and camp fire facility. Yoga sessions are organised throughout the year depending on guests’ requirements. Walk over to the butterfly garden, organic farm, library and the spa. The Ayurvedic spa offers many rejuvenation packages and treatments. There’s a souvenir shop and a spices shop you can visit.

Conferences, parties and wedding receptions can be held at the banquet hall here. The resort will eagerly arrange boating, nature walks, jungle safaris, bamboo rafting, bullock cart rides, plantation tours, elephant rides and treks for you.

The Muthoot Environment Research Foundation (MERF) was set up in 2005 as an endeavour to promote environmental awareness and respect for the surroundings. It started off as a role model with an Eco Cell plant at Muthoot Backwater Cruise, Alleppey. MERF plays an important role to enhance and contribute to the environment, in all its resorts and projects. The organic farm specializes in recycled paper, paper bags, solar water heating system, jute materials, rainwater harvesting and enforces a plastic-free resort.
